Few weeks before I move to my current place, I took a walk exploring the neighbourhood and found out a huge temple called Gokokuji.
I went back there again with my mom after I moved last January and picked an omikuji after praying for a good year ahead (known as hatsumode in Japanese). I got the regular fortune, a step down for last year but well, I believe it's enough for a great year!

This is where people hang the bad luck omikuji, hoping that what's written there won't come true |

This one is probably one of my fave photo taken so far! |

Afterwards, we went to this steak and cafe called Kennedy at Higashi Ikebukuro. It was new and offering a great del of lunch set. Very cheap and I'm pretty much sure will come back there when I crave for some steak.
