Graduation Day

Super late post of my graduation day on September 15th :D

That day was forecasted to be rainy as the typhoon was hitting Tokyo, it was pouring in the morning but the sky suddenly cleared up at noon :D Must because of all the prayers we sent!

and one of my best decisions I had ever made was choosing to attend the graduation ceremony in Hakama.
Although it is pricey but definitely worth every single penny :D

I seriously would not mind to repeat my uni life, even now I am thinking of going back to school :D

btw, Merry Christmas!

A Day Trip to Kamakura

It has been a while since my last post. I have started working since the third week of last month.
Usually on the weekdays, I never touch my laptop when I reach home after work. 8.5 hours at the offive sitting in front of a laptop is tiring enough for my eyes and body.

Moreover, I am currently addicted to this iOS game called Battle Camp that I no longer check all my social medias besides that game! :D

And now I finally have some time to blog about my day trip to Kamakura with my parents last September. It's kinda weird since it's winter now but I am wearing summery clothes on the these pictures bellow! xD Plus, my mom is coming again to Tokyo next week lol

Anyway, Kamakura is good for a day trip from Tokyo. It can be reached in around an hour from Shinjuku by either Odakyu or JR line. I bought the one day pass for the Odakyu line from Shinjuku (1500 Yen including the Enoden rides, what a great deal!).

Kamakura is lovely, might not have the best beach but perfect for a getaway from busy Tokyo during the weekend!

Enoshima Shrine

These guys are trying to throw some coins into the box over there.

That day was cloudy with a little rain

Go away bad luck

I didn't know there were holes behind this famous great Buddha

Having some coffee from the vending machine

Apparently Kamakura is also famous for its stray cats that can be seen everywhere

Kansai Day 3 - Arashiyama and Kyoto

Our trip started later than the what we had scheduled that day.
But since I haven't had chance to visit Arashiyama 3 years ago when I first visited Kyoto, I put Arashiyama on priority :)

I wish we stayed in Kyoto for a night, since there are so many things to see and a day trip is not enough!
My parents and cousin missed the Kinkakuji (Golden temple) T.T

Arashiyama was beautiful! It was nice to stroll around the area.
I'm pretty much sure it would be even more beautiful to visit in around November. Imagine if those trees have turned red xD

Tenryuji - Temple of Zen

The bamboo forest

We took the train back to Kyoto. Bought ourselves a one day pass for the city bus and our first destination was Kiyomizu Temple.

The the sun has set and we headed to Fushimi Inari Shrine.
I regret not going there during the day because it was dark and we couldn't take a proper look at the famous hundreds tori which lead to the inner shrine :(

Kyoto, I'll definitely be back! and the first thing I'll do is to visit this shrine during the day xD

Posting this makes me miss traveling so much!
I wish I had companions to travel right now T.T
I still have a week or so to kill before start working full time...
