Falling leaves

If only I came to this place two or three weeks earlier, it would be even more beautiful.
Last mid of December, my mom came to visit me again and I brought her to Aoyama itchome to see the yellow gingko trees.

Too bad we were too late and most of the leaves have fallen already.

Today is the last day February and the spring is coming.

I am no longer working full time like before. I have less income but more time for myself which is great. I have time to think, sketch, blog and read. I have the time that money can't buy.

A little bit of Bali

Last September, I stopped by at Bali for 3 days before going back to my hometown.
It was such a short but fun trip with my parents :)

On the first day, we went to visit a Chinese temple behind a big Hindu temple at Kintamani which name I can't recall.
According to my dad, the king of this area married a princess from China and he built this small Chinese temple for her there.

The cross culture and religion architecture is quite interesting to observe.

Hamarikyu Garden

What lovely about Tokyo is that no matter how crowded this city is, there is always place to relax at.
After spending an hour googling on internet of what to do, I brought my mom to Hamarikyu Garden for a picnic. It's located at Shiodome, a huge park surrounded by tall office and hotel buildings.

And it was September, the month of blooming Cosmos! :)

Japanese tea house. If only we came earlier, we probably had tried having a tea ceremony there.

The contrast of modern and traditional is what I love the most about Tokyo.

The reason why I do not blog as much is because my life has been rough these days.
I am stuck in routine, not knowing what to do except going through the day.
Until last week, I finally set my mind that I don't want to live like this. This is my only life and I have to do what I love while surrounded by people I love.

Everything is still unsure but I will probably leave Japan sometimes soon to start a whole new adventure of seeking what I love to do :)

The date has not been set but I am now trying my best to enjoy even the tiniest detail of this country :)

A day trip to Hakone

It feels weird to blog about what happened 4 months ago. I do still remember what I did but the memories are not fresh and I doubt I can write about every single details.

One day in September, my parents and I went for a day trip to Hakone using Odakyu pass which cost us 5000 Yen each. Transportation in Japan is expensive and I think the pass worth it. It would be even better if we stayed overnight at Hakone but we didn't :(

Too bad the weather was not perfect that day and we could not see the famous mt. Fuji at all!!!!
