From Shinjuku to Harajuku

It was the around the end of January when I had to wake up early sending my mom off to the airport. Spent few hours afterwards at Starbucks while waiting for Vivi, my high school best friend to come.

My day was started with a cup of Grande Caramel Machiatto

Brought vivi to Kotegaeshi Okonomiyaki at Shinjuku. Besides Sushi and Ramen, a must have food for visitors in Japan is Okonomiyaki!

and this Okonomiyaki restaurant at Shinjuku is the best one I have found so far.

新宿 こてがえし

The interior inside designed so Japanese with Edo themed wallpaper

four minutes and you have to flip your Okonomiyaki

Ready to be eaten!

This one is Monjayaki. If Okonomiyaki is Osaka's signature food, Monjaki is Tokyo's

Purikura!

Right after purikura, we took the Yamanote line from Shinjuku and got off at Harajuku.

The balloon man who always makes balloons on that corner seat of Harajuku's Starbucks every weekend.

Crepes, the iconic food of Takeshita Street. There are probably around 6 or 7 shops around

  7. This really makes me wanna jump on a plane and get myself there! I really love your coat by the way, it looks so warm and chic :-) I always get Caramel Machiatto or Green Tea Frappes at Starbucks, can't find a good enough place anywhere else! And I love how there's a sand hourglass for okonomiyaki, how clever. I never win at those UFO catchers, maybe once in a blue moon. But Rilakkuma look so adorable, especially the one holding the pillow :3 You guys look so pretty in your purikura photos, it also makes me wanna go take some with my friends, I haven't been in years only because it's quite pricey now. Those balloon figurines are incredible, I'm amazed how he crafted the alien from Toy Story! Crepes looking so divine, I applaud you for taking the time to take a photo before helping yourself to a big bite, they look scrumptious! I studied a fair bit on Japanese architecture, Harajuku's exteriors are so mesmerizingly compact, sorry for the long comment but I haven't been active on your blog as I used to be :-)
